What happens if you’re a buyer, and the home (that you put an offer on) doesn’t appraise? Depending upon your type of financing, as the buyer, if a home does not appraise then you may have to come out of pocket for the difference between the appraised value, and the sales price. If you, your Realtor, and the seller as well as their Realtor, can not come to a final agreement, then the deal can occasionally fall through.
