After what seemed to be the never ending winter, Spring has arrived! Rivers are raging, the sun is bright and we are starting to see boats on the lake again. There is still plenty of skiing to be done, but it’s also time to dust off the mountain bikes, paddle boards and other summer toys because summer is arriving fast!
April 2019 was a solid month for real estate with 267 new listings and 134 properties solid during the month. With listings being scarce during the record snowfalls in January and February, there has been strong activity and listings that have come on the market with a good price have been snatched up, sometimes with multiple offers. Average price has come down under $1,000,000 for the first time in a while and the median price came down from over $700,000 to $625,000. But neither of those drops should alarm anyone, 2019 should be another strong year in Tahoe Real Estate.
