Fall Concerts on the Avenue 2021 in Review

The November series of Concerts on the Avenue just finished up last night! Three Wednesdays in a row, the Avenue of the Fountains was full of music, cornhole, art stands, food, and drinks. It was a great time! Here are some photos from the second and third nights of the Concerts.

The Saucy Jacks perform “A Hard Day’s Night” by the Beatles at the fountains by Sofrita.

At each Concerts event, two performances are going on at any given time. Up by the Town Hall and Sami Fine Jewelry, an acoustic performer sings. Down at the fountains in the median by Sofrita, a band plays.

The acoustics performers included Jai Graves, Seth Brown, and Ritchie Fliegler. The bands were Lucas Brown and the Night Watch, the Chuck Hall Band, and the Saucy Jacks.

Down at the Sonoran Lifestyle Team office, we served a different fall cocktail drink each night. A unique board of meats, cheeses, crackers, and cookies was also available for snacking. Popcorn and water were given out to the audience between songs.

Attendance was great, with hundreds of people navigating the Avenue through the two-hour duration of each concert.

People had picnics in the grass with their dogs. Families played cornhole outside of the office. Firefely Wood-Fired Pizzas sold freshly made pizzas and cannolis from their food truck in the MCSO lot.

Overall, this November concert series was a huge success, and we all had a blast! Concerts on the Avenue is sponsored by the Sonoran Lifestyle Team at RE/MAX Sun Properties. The concerts will return in April of 2022.

Encore! Night One of Concerts on the Avenue was a Hit

The first night of Concerts on the Avenue took place on Wednesday night, and it was a huge success! Hundreds of people had a great time up and down the Avenue of the Fountains listening to the two musical acts performing on different ends of the green, checking out the merchant stands and indulging in some fantastic food and drinks.

Sonoran Lifestyle realtor John Weil plays Cornhole on the green with a friend.

People played yard games like cornhole across the median of the Avenue all evening. Firefly Stone-Fired Pizza served pizzas and cannolis in the MCSO Parking Lot. Groups of friends set up picnics while their dogs got lots of attention from passers-by.

Ritchie Fliegler

Wednesday’s live music included an acoustic performance of southern rock hits by Ritchie Fliegler up by Sami Fine Jewelry, and a rock show by Lucas Brown and the Night’s Watch.

At the end of the night, the audience demanded “Encore!” from Lucas and his band, to which they happily obliged.

All three nights of Concerts on the Avenue are sponsored by the Sonoran Lifestyle Team at RE/MAX Sun Properties. Just like we did on night one, we’ll be around serving fall-themed drinks and snacks at and around our office.

The musical performances will run from 5:30 to 7:30, just as they did on Wednesday. The performers for the upcoming nights will be:

November 10

November 17

Be sure to come back to the Avenue for the second and third nights of Concerts on the Avenue! We’ll be there. Click here for more info about the Concerts on the Avenue series.
