RONDY, RONDEVOUS C’MON!

This year is getting better and better!  A huge part of our business is the  bond we share with the community we live in and with our clients. So, when we were offered the opportunity to sponsor Fur Rondy by one of our favorite clients, Cheri Spink, (Fur Rondy Sponsorship Coordinator extraordinaire) it was a no brainer!
Both Annikka and I are born and raised Alaskans. Fur Rondy has always  been a highlight of the winter, especially the snow sculptures!

We had a blast watching the experts take a block of snow and turn it into a  cute Whimsical Cabin- it exceeded our expectations and we are so thankful  for the talented artists from team AK Awesome, Mars and the Snow Slayers, and The Blockheads!  We hope you had a chance to make it down to see  them, but if not, make sure you check them out next year!

NEW LISTINGS AND BUYERS ARE ON THE WAY!

“Look out for the stampede!”
We are working with a lovely group of buyers AND sellers right now and we want to share these two graphs regarding the current and decade trends in Anchorage.

Fear not- we should be seeing a lot more action. As more listings begin to  hit the market, more buyers will be out looking.
To beat the competition, make sure you get pre-approved with your lender  so when  we find you the perfect home.  We don’t want to risk losing the opportunity!

What to make this month? The Courtney’s Kitchen

So… if you are like me, you have that moment when people say they are  coming by and you have a short time to make an amazing snack to make  everyone happy.  This month’s treat is Bacon wrapped dates.
I know what you are thinking- Matt has such great ideas, just like Aurora  always says- haha.  Let me know what you think!

10 dates (cut in half and pitted)
10 slices of bacon (cut in half)

Heat oven to 350, wrap sliced dates with raw bacon pieces, stick a toothpick in, bake for 20 min until crispy- share with friends!

HERE COMES THE SUN! – WELCOMING 2019 WITH PLAN…

This year I have been working on goals that were set at the end of 2017 and am so excited to say that I have made so many huge changes in my life.
I thought about where I wanted to be and then made a plan on how to get there.  I would like to say thank you to every one involved in helping me reach my goals and also those who helped pick me up and urged me to get it done when I was in doubt!  I challenge you to do the same for 2019.

I am currently working to make goals for all aspects of my life that are important to me: health, family, time, career, and helping others achieve their goals also!  If you need some advise or want to bounce your ideas off of me- do not hesitate to call!  I LOVE to hear what challenges my friends are hoping to overcome.  Looking forward to hear what fun is on its way.

Cheers to a wonderful 2019!
